Thursday August 21, 7pm
Born in 1951, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche is an accomplished high Lama of the Kagyu tradition. He is the eldest son of the celebrated Dzogchen master, H.E. Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, and the great-great-grandson of one of the most outstanding Nyingma treasure-finders of the 19th century in Tibet, Terchen Chokgyur Lingpa.
In addition to being the abbot of one of the largest monasteries in Nepal, Rinpoche has been teaching westerners for almost 35 years. With a concise, lucid and humorous approach, he imparts the very core of the Buddhist teachings, revealing the natural simplicity of the Enlightened Mind.

Rinpoche also established Dharmachakra Publishers who have produced numerous scholarly translations.
