Bonnie Rose Marcus will read from her just released book with an opening introduction and reading by Andrea L. Watson, poet and founding publisher of 3: A Taos Press.
The Luminosity, a poignant new poetry book, was inspired by poet Bonnie Rose Marcus’ visits to women and men in home hospice, hospice units, as well as nursing homes. Her poems are intimate portraits of their dying–threading the gritty reality with the transcendent. Each poem reveals a deep connection made between the poet and those at the end of their lives, as they both balance upon that fragile precipice between life and death.
